its jon here. spent some time in nature and now im back, getting
used to the internet.
put up a new song on our myspace
for your consideration.
its called maquina.
every couple of weeks we'll put up a new song from a collection of songs
that we will release soon as our next LP.

updates on that. title and all will be forth coming betches.
we also have booked some local dates, so that'll be put up soon.

right... working on some new songs.
writing words, drawrrring pictures, trying to keep fit & tidy. if
i was a rich man, id take us out to a nice dinner. Filet Mignon and
asparagus for the meat-eaters, and a menu for whatever vegans eat (ask
tony) and a couple bottles of nice wine and an old scotch.
Some nice root beer and maybe a little tiramisu? You cant eat a painting,
sirs.
Shits pre-pubescent, once its come in its own, well take them down to
Glamour Shots™
and post some snapshots. Im just kidding silly, you cant take photos
of songs.
p.s. brian got his first computer ever yesterday, so if you see him
on the street, congratulate him loudly. he loves that kind of shit

Goodbye 2006.
After being on the road for about 8 months, we're going to take a break
from live shows for a bit. Working on a new record. Its still in the
mommys tummy. Not even born yet. We dont know if its a boy or a girl.
But ive begun buying furniture and getting a room ready & shit.
Being home more means i can update this here index of mellowdrone information,
so i will be posting more. Ummmmm...
2007, she will be the year of the corvette. And bread pudding. i love
bread pudding.

hey guys, its jonathan here.
we won't be able to play tuscon this saturday (oct.14) due to the fact
i have mild case of pneumonia. I know, i got my Winner certificate in
the mail from the Winners Certificate Association of America. My sincerest
apologies to any inconvenience this may have caused anyone. Im going
to take a steam shower and see what comes up.
p.s. the message board is up and running again.
unfortunately the hacker who put his stank on our old one did a good
job of destroying the database.
so the thousands of posts and members are gone.

For todays diary installment, we take a page from the personal
tour journal of the man, the myth:
Tony De Matteo.
So... This past tour was quite eventful.
Let me start you off on an overnight drive to
Denver. Jon had just finished up his shift, and stopped at a rest stop
to switch with my brother John. Unknown to everyone in the van, Jon
made his way over to the bathroom. This wasn't noticed till about 10
miles down the road when I looked back and saw that Jon wasn't on his
bench. Long story short, we turned around and saw Jon walking down the
highway, about as pissed as I've ever seen. We laughed about it a day
later, but honestly, who would be happy about being stranded at a rest
stop. He's only the LEAD SINGER!
Then at some venue in Chicago, on our last song, Jon grabbed a conveniently
placed fire extinguisher and continued to spray it's contents all over
our drummer Brian (hit him right in the face actually ahahah).
What was essentially an innocent idea, turned in to four musicians gasping
for air. That shit is fucking harsh...Who knew.
When it came time to settle with the promoter, the dude handed me an
envelope with writing on it saying: "-$50 for the fire extinguisher
stunt." I laughed at the guy. He then proceeded to tell me that we were
banned from playing there 4 LYF!! I kindly told him to fuck off and
SUCK MY BALLS, twice.[editors note: twiiiiice....]
A few other things along the lines of rearranging marquis, and throwing
water bottles at Brian and Cam while playing, made for a great little
tour. Also, I'd like to thank all of the bands we played with for being
such rad people (She Wants Revenge, I Love You But I've Chosen Darkness,
Benzos, Halo Stereo, and Ghostland Observatory).

we've just had the dopest time with Monsters Are Waiting and Modwheelmood.
we played the dodgeball and it was good. we have new dates coming up
for this fall. we'll be opening up for She
Wants Revenge again. we're funna touch. if you have T.V., we will
be on CDUSA/DirectTV this
weekend, August 19. we will also be on Late
Night With Craig Ferguson on CBS August 25. if you like the teevees,

we just got home for 4 days of rest before we go out again
to play music in a live setting. im going to get some eye surgery, cause
why not... check out the TOUR section. buttloads of
shows with our buddies. We'd like to thank She
Wants Revenge and Ima
Robot for some of the most fun shows we've had in ages. Theres a
nice non-fiction book some where in there between Border Patrol incidents
and the nudity (?) Dont know what i mean, ask Tony. He's got a Blackberry
so he's the most on top of shit. His brother, John, rolled out with
us and he's quite the stand up comedian, so i literally pissed my pants
laughing twice. Oh My is getting played a lot on Bravo, which is fine
by my me cause they have the best shows. Finally, we'll be taping a
live song for
Late Night With Craig Ferguson Aug. 14. If youre
in LA and wanna roll, i think its free and we'd love the company. We'll
put up the air date when we get it. We are incredibly grateful for the
support you guys have been showing us. i think its love. ok, maybe some
lust and the night air.
